A Guide to Swiss Humour
The Swiss are not usually thought of as masters of snappy repartee, and still less as witty. The exhibition «WITZERLAND» in the Swiss National Museum will show us what the Swiss laugh at, what they consider amusing and what they dismiss with just a gentle smile. Humour, jokes and satire are the theme of the show: a multimedia compilation of humourous looks at Switzerland.
Jokes and humour are volatile. «WITZERLAND» attempts to capture them, and uses highlights to reveal a history of humour in Switzerland.
